Great Aussie caravan adventures Travel Australia

G.A.C.A Lifestyle came about through our travel experiences as we traveled around Australia . 

Ask me a few years ago if I would ever be thinking of writing  about our life as we travel austrailia and I would have laughed at you said no chance at all.

Our family consist of Paul, Vicky , Sienna , Grayce, & Livia.

It was 2020 when we decided that we needed a change in our life, to getaway and change our lifestyle. Not only for our well being but for our kids.

We started looking into what we would need to do an how much it would cost.  In the beginning I didn't really think as to what it costs to travel around Australia. 

I was more focussed on what we needed to make this happen.

 We started putting together ideas on how we could make this happen. We continued to save an put together a plan.  

It was when I started to look into things I realised it can start adding up quickly before  you hit the road it was looking like most of the money would be gone before we start.

We continued to push forward and planned on leaving for our trip 26th December  2021 this gave us around 12 months to plan things. The first hurdle was what car we could afford that could tow a large van for the weight we needed.  We chose the FORD ranger Wildtrek, the price fit into our budget and the GCM & tow capacity was one of the larger without stepping into a landcrusuer or Patrol, which at the time were out of our budget.

Then there was the caravan. There are just so many vans around now it can be quiet overwhelming I can honestly say break it down it is up to what suits you best as a family an each families requirements are different. Start with looking at the space as this is a must, you will be living in this van it's your home. Most of all one of the biggest issues you will encounter will be the weight of your van and car.

We looked around and come across the Great Aussie. We actually ended up in one of the first Great Aussie Navig8tor caravans. It was a semi off road build but the weight was perfect for what we needed the full off-road vans were too heavy for our combination

Well here we are. We have completed 12 months full time on the road. 

How things can change in such a short time. What amazing life it is. however living on the road is not for everyone an it does come with a lot of daily challengers, however we have been so lucky an this lifestyle change  has opened up so many new aventues for us, from meeting new people, going to new places,  new business adventures, from having our You tube channel which was started originally for our family to watch our journey and now has become a major part of our life. Our online marketing business is starting to really kick into gear. We have a new the new website and blogs, We also have been given the opportunity to work with caravan dealers, manufactures,  and attend trade shows.

Given us the chance to bring new caravans, , 4x4 rooftops and travel products that you require to live on the road.  

we are not sponsored but we do have a lot of supporters that have helped us while being on the road. 

And that's how G.A.C.A lifestyle came about.

As a visitor here, you are part of a fantastic community. We thrive on communication from our supporters as it is a major contributor to where we are today. The travel family as we call it on the road is amazing community. We love that we are now able to connect and give back like so many have given to us along the way.
